On the bone £10.99 per kilo Rub the beef all over with oil, then season on both sides, to taste, with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Heat a griddle pan over a high heat until very hot. When the pan is hot, add the beef and fry on both sides for one minute, or until golden-brown chargrill marks appear on both sides of the beef. Transfer the griddled beef to a roasting tray and roast in the oven for 12-14 minutes (for rare), or until cooked to your liking. Remove from the roasting tray and set aside on a warm plate to rest for at least five minutes.

We source our free range organic chickens from a trusted farm. They are slow growing chickens which live in mobile houses with perches. These are kept on herb and clover enriched meadows among woodland strips to encourage them to range, forage and dust bath as they would in their natural ‘forest floor’ habitat. They are killed humanely on the farm to keep stress to a minimum. Full of flavour and succulent – just like chicken used to taste. The ultimate roasting bird – wonderfully tasty - and good for two or three meals if you’re a thrifty cook and to make stocks and soups etc. normally £8.78 per kg fresh but we have some frozen at 15% discount, £7.46 per kilo.
